I am moving to STT soon, and I am wondering if T-mobile if works at all there. If not what are my other options. Thanks.

I used to have T-Mobile and whenever I was on STT I had service pretty much only in Town and on the East End. South by Frenchman's and Bolongo...nada. After getting an i-phone and switching to AT&T I've had pretty decent coverage island-wide. My suggestion would be to try and get out of your T-mobile contract like I did. Basically I explained that I was on-island and, since T-mobile claims they have full coverage on STT but, in actuality, they don't, ask to be let out of your contract for free. They will then send out a "crew"(I highly doubt they did any such thing"and test your locale. You then call back in a few days and ask again. This worked for me. Nowadays, T-mobile may even just say...Öh..you're in the USVI? Yes, we say we cover there but we really don't. You might just get lucky on the first try! I truly hope this helps. If you have any more specific Q's PM me and I'll do what I can.
Good luck!

Beaches, I don't know your timeframe of "soon" however the AT&T/TMobile merger is under review by the regulatory agencies. On April 21st this year, AT&T "filed with the Federal Communications Commission its Public Interest Statement regarding its proposed acquisition of T-Mobile USA." No one can make any predictions about the outcome of the agency review for the merger but if your timeframe to arrive on island is still some months away, you might consider "holding" until the review outcome is finalized.

Thanks everyone for your advice. Really good info to know. The funny thing is I just left AT&T in May, so I think it will be a good thing to look at again. Does AT&T have good internet coverage for the ipads? thanks again.

There is really no such thing as good coverage with either sprint or att. They both mostly work in most places. But before you rent a place on island make sure your cell phone works there! I have att for my ipad and it works fine, but I mostly use it at home with my wifi, which tends to be much faster.
