chefnoah, we notified ATT today. We were trying to track him a while first but we tortured him so much with texts and voice messages that he finally turned the phone off. He got all our messages. He didn't use the phone at all. No outgoing calls except the last ones I made.

Dixie, I think we did scare him quite badly. He didn't know that we saw him before he robbed us and knew what he was driving.

Too bad, sorry to hear it!
Yes, theft always feels personal!
If it were me, i`d think of a vigilante approach (that`s just me).
What is terrible about AT&T phones are, anyone can just insert their sim & go, though there is the GPS...

At the beach, I always lock the valuables in the trunk, & leave such as towels & food out.
I`m thinking a nice looking handbag, with a rat trap set inside it(be careful) or a stun gun connected to a reed (magnetic) switch.
You would need to have someone babysit it as due to poor parenting, many children here are not properly brought up, & may try to tamper with it(I think the little devils deserve it, but I`m SURE many here would feel different!)

tam, a friend told me last night that she recently had her car broken into at Smuggler's cove. They smashed the side widow and stole her things too. Seems that place is being targeted.

Maybe we should target the target?
