Yearasta, I'm going to try to make it but I have another meeting at 7:30 in town. My main concern is to get the schools fixed and maintained and settle up with the teachers. Also how about a sweep by the police of all the public housing to confiscate all the guns.

Thanks Yearasta!

I'll try to make it out there tomorrow! Open forum?? Got more details?

I met Sammy a couple months ago when the V.I.R.E.O group sat with the govenor discussing the new solar hot water pilot program, he is VERY pro renewable energy! PLEASE PLEASE tell them to re-open Senator Hill's renewable energy bill and make a decision one way or the other!! Too may people are sitting waiting to do something about investing in a solar hot water or solar electric system and they wait for the bill to go through because they might save another $7k~!! The bill just sits on the fence, it was tabled again in October to wait for the next legislature.....5 months later...still no decision 🙁 Some of the main parts of the bill include doubling the local rebate offered through the VI energy office for solar electric systems and the removal of excise taxes for all renewable energy equipment coming into the territory. They need to make a decision and not let this sit..... or make the rebate retro on a certain date.

As far as homland security....More time getting automatic weapons and hard drugs off the street please!

Cory K.

I don't know if anyone from here made the meeting last night or not, but does anyone have anything they would like the Senator to address next week at the Senate hearings...right now the scope is Public Safety...but I will relay any concerns you may have. Feel free to PM me.

More people should speak up & stand strong together if we ever want to have a safer brighter future!

Until then...........just more of the same ole same ole
