I will be moving to St. Croix in December and would like to know how the bus system there? I would love to just use a dirt bike/moped like I have in the past but that doesn't seem likely. Does their bus system have a website? What other options do I have?

There is a public bus system called VITRAN but it is very unreliable and doesn't cover all areas. There is a $2.50 taxi bus that runs between Christiansted and Frederiksted but they don't cover all areas either and it would be hard to get around late at night. It's best to buy a car or ship one down from the mainland.
