*I'm going to coming to st croix for 4 months. I will be living in christiansted, and working at the hospital. I will need transportation. It seems too expensive to rent a car, but the hassle of buying and then selling one when I leave doesn't seem any better. What about motorcycles?

Hello Marrice,

Check and see if any of the car rentals lease cars - that might be an option. St. Croix has many more flat areas then its sister islands so is more motorycycle and even to some degree bicycle friendly. I don't know about leasing a motorcycle, if you buy one you will have the same issue of having to sell it when you leave that you would with a used car. There used to be a scooter rental that carried a few motorcycles on St. Croix but they aren't open anymore and I haven't heard of any new ones opening up.
