Search the thread for complete details.

Expect to pay at the minimum $2K for shipping, duties, taxes, etc.

Then, after all the hassle of getting it here, you have to spend more money for the tax...and then have it inspected (that'll shoot one whole day to he**). I recommend selling it and buying one of the same thing here. In the long run you will pay less and have less headaches. Just MHO.

Or you can avoid the hassel by employing any of a number of individuals who will pick-up your paperwork and deliver your car with the tags, inspection sticker, and title all completed. Cost me about $150 to have a guy run through the whole process for 2 cars.

As to movers, there's a guy on this end, Bob Lynch Movers, to contact. Did a great job for me. But it cost a good $1,500 till I was done.

I shipped my cars rather than sell and buy. Before I moved them I had my garage guy from the states, who I trusted and had a lot of experience with, go over them and replace anything that remotely looked like it could go wrong. Had the oil, trany fluid, everything changed and most importantly had the radiator flushed and fresh anti-freeze put in. That's right anti-freeze. It works as a coolant as much as it works as antifreeze. So when I got here I knew what I had. And if you buy new here, you're going to pay a differential between here and stateside price that more than makes up for the shipping costs. My 2 cents anyway.

with my move the screw ups were with the movers in the States and not with Lynch and his crew. The folks down here were great.
