Where do the travel nurses stay during their assignments? What company do they travel with?

Hi,
We have had a few nurses stay at our property on STX. http://www.virginislandsrentals.com. Peppertree Terrace also hosts quite a few. The first name that comes to mind is Worldwide Staffing. There are several others, though.

I know on St. Thomas a lot of the nurses stay at Sapphire Condos.

Thanks for your reply, Juanita. I didn't know there were travel nursing positions on your island, St Croix..

I believe that travelers are now responsible for finding their own lodgings, so they are spread out all over the place.

Thanks, EastEnder.
I would like to hear about more housing opportunities. A travel company has quoted a housing allowance, would like to see some properties for comparison. And any nurses out there? This forum is great!

Usually the travelers network through their travel company. Many times an apartment vacated by one traveler will be available to the person picking up the contract. Unless you came down before your contract, I am not sure how you would see the property. You either need to see things in person or trust your company.

In STT the condos next to Bolongo and also Saphire are used a lot for the nurses.
