Sounds like health insurance.
Call the hospital.

We also are covered by Tricare in the states, Tricare Prime. When we move to STT, we will have to convert to Tricare Standard Overseas. As I understand it, no premium but max out of pocket is @3,000 per year per person, with copays and deductibles. You have to pay up front and get reimbursed and you can go to any doctor.
If you split time between the states and STT, you keep Prime and switch to Overseas when on island, as if you are on a vacation.

This is all info based on my preliminary research online and I have not gone to the base in Tampa to verify. (To anyone interested, this is the health insurance system for U.S. military. )

TriCare for Life is accepted here on STX. If you are on Medicare you are fully covered [unless the hospital loses accreditation]. FYI TriCare for Life is insurance for retired Military and Civil Service.
