Update & Questions about a fridge...

Hey everyone! Well, everything's being finalized and as it looks right now, we are closing on our STX condo 8/1 and coming back down 8/6-8/13... We already have our new fridge and dishwasher lined up to be delivered and we have finally found someone to do our cabinet! Thanks for the recommendations! We'll let ya know how everything turns out!

Question I have about the fridge is this, we were told by one store there that when we're looking at fridge's, we need to look at brands that have a "tropical thermostat" so they don't drip? We asked about that at another store and the guy said that unless that was something new, he'd never heard of it. Has anyone else heard of this or were they just trying to get us to buy a more expensive model?

Thanks again everyone for your help, don't know what we would have done without it! We're almost a few steps closing to moving down! Hope to meet more of you when we come down and catch up with those of you that we've met! Wish we could stay for the get together but unfortunately, we're needed at work and were lucky to get the time off that we got!

I think you probably figured out the answer while you were posting the question, AJWayne!

I shouldn't say I've never heard anything more bizarre but...crikey!

Trust me, dear heart, there is nothing on the market that has a "tropical thermostat." OK?

That's what I figured but Jamie wanted me to ask around about it, just to be sure before we bought one...Thanks!
