Anyone have any experience with USAA on STX?

I had USAA auto coverage for some 50 years but had a terrible experience with them while living in post-Soviet space (with their credit card, not auto insurance).

Any other recommendations for auto insurance?

There have been previous discussions about USAA insurance and auto insurance / car insurance here, if you search the forum for those phrases.

There is also a current thread "Car insurance - not USAA" that you can look at.

We have many USAA products. The only issue we have had on STX is that the debit cards do not work at Schooner Bay Market for some reason (no one at Schooner or USAA can seem to tell us why). The USAA credit card works there though (makes no sense to me). That is the only issue we have had.

trying to get USAA insurance now since father was military. it is cheaper and i heard they settle claims very quickly. wish they did homeowners down here.

I would recommend looking into USAA for insurance.

Please talk to them about that when you are getting your auto insurance. We were told that they are going to try again but the more they hear requests the harder they will try.
