What are the typical utilities needed to live in an apartment in St. Croix? I know each place is different on the mainland, so I'm just trying to get an idea, also what are the typical prices for those who are living by themselves for utilities? Thanks!

take your electric bill, look at the killiowats you use, and then multiply it by 34 cents! That would be your electric bill if you don't change. But remember that you may use more if you have electric.

Cable will be about 50 a month.

Telephone, if you get a local line will be about 28 a month.

Gas is about 2.80/a gallon.

water is about 6c a gallon if you need to pay for it

gas to cook on would be about 150/year.

Hope that helps

It also depends on how you chose to live: do you run the AC, keep lights on, use the dryer etc....
