We are in the beginning stages of a move to St. Croix. Can someone give me the name of a company to contact that will ship our vehicles? Will most companies like that be located in Florida? What kind of cost should I expect and what should I watch out for?

We used Tropical Shipping for our cars and VI Cargo for our furniture. Good service from both and both have web sites.

Use the search feature on this board for complete details. This is a frequent topic. The Short answer is approx $800 per vehicle shipping depending on size plus taxes and fees charged by VI of $0.16 per puond plus 4% bluebook value.

Try Lee at managed freight. They have a website also. Search the trends on the board and you will find good info on the moving company many has used.
