Hey All,

Due to the unusual dry spell that we've been experiencing, please put some bowls of water out for the birds, bees, lizards and other critters around your property.

I have some on my decks and outside in the yard and see an increase
in visits every day by banana quits, thrushies, a couple of green parakeets, hummingbirds and even a young hawk the other day.
The lizards seem to prefer the dog bowl water.

Would be nice to get some rain soon! So dry!
Haven't had a really good rain since the Valentine's weekend deluge in my Northside location. We got nothing on this side from the rain that flooded some areas of town in early May.

I watch a thrushie take a nice loooooong bath in the dog bowl the other day. It was kind of fun to watch. Surprisingly, the dog didn't even care. I had to rescue a baby chick who fell in and couldn't swim a time or two as well. I fill up a planter saucer now for the little guys so they don't have to struggle with the dog bowl.
