A few years back I purchased license plates through the National Park (the ones with Trunk Bay on them). Do you know if I can use them on my car when I bring it down or am I better off just letting the shipping company get the regular VI plates. Thanks.

You can bring them in to BMV when you register your car.

on a related note, I can put "fun" plates on the front of my vehicle in Kentucky. Where can you buy a plate (not a frame)? Something def. STX, not just "island". I've not seen any yet and I'm not a big shopper so if you could save me some time, I (and especially my husband!) would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

What about an authentic STX plate? The older yellow ones.

Go to ebay and look for them--lots of license plate collectors on eBay...
