Believe it or not there is no siren here at the container port in STX. you think this place SHOULD have one.

stxsailor, we held a company-wide evacuation drill in conjunction with the VITEMA test, never heard the sirens. The old hands were expecting the refinery to sound their alarms at the appointed time, but I guess the new owners didn't play along. I guess the nearest siren to the port is Sion Farm.

The Hovensa sirens have not been used once refining stopped in 2012.
