On VITRAN bus route 3 now. Back door malfunctioned for 5 minutes before issue resolved. Enroute now. Updates to come.

How much are VITRAN's fares? Is there discounts for seniors?

$1. Seniors free w local senior card. Kids supposed to be .50, but driver today was charging $1. Told us it was she who was doing her job. Some riders threatened to report her and this is only day 2.

Bus ran out of seats so some had to stand.

That's too bad. Apart from the briefly malfunctioning door, a dispute about the fare for children and that some people had to stand, I was hoping to hear some positive and useful feedback on the ride.

The ride was smooth and the air conditioning worked.

I emailed Commissioner Smalls a couple of days ago asking for clarification on schedules, rates, etc.. If I don't hear back in a couple of days I'll follow up.

On VITRAN bus route 3 now.

What is route 3? And also, I guess, what are routes 1 & 2?

You go, girl! As the saying goes "squeeky wheel gets the grease!"
That's if there's grease to be had or anyone is actually listening.

The commissioner should provide the routes with the schedules. It was the first VITRAN bus that came while I was standing there, and I had more than an hour to kill so I hopped on.

I was tracking the route with the ramblr app, but got off before the route terminated.Saw a food truck I had been meaning to try!

Mostly local food. It was Sugar Mobile across from Tillett's Garden. Mondays they have conch in butter sauce for $8. It was bland, imo, but great deal. No fungi, though.
