VITRAN Schedule

STX? I'm not sure that, "VITRAN" and "schedule" belong in the same sentence but the best information is here:

They are having an event this Friday to celebrate the new buses, and are supposed to have new routes and schedules. But, this is the VI govt so don't believe anything they tell you. St John ferries are still parked.

Ok wish they had a schede posted on Facebook or somethings.

Locals rarely take VITRAN and they probably don't post the schedule so people won't be able to tell when the buses are late.

They're supposed to announce new routes and schedules tomorrow. We'll see.

i was wondering about the schedules too. it would be nice if they offered bus routes out west

They used to have a Fortuna bus and they have the Bordeux/Crown Mountain bus.

And for those who aren't familiar with VI neighborhoods/estates, Fortuna and Bordeaux are on the west end of St Thomas.

Just came from VITRAN on St Thomas. They don't have a printed schedule, and when I asked if they plan to publish one in the future, I was politely told that she wasn't in charge of that so couldn't say. She did tell me, though, that routes are the same.

Schedule? Govt run operation? Surely you jest?

I too am wondering about a 'schedule'. I know they are running a new route/bus on St. John. I noticed a bus stop sign outside my house (Gifft Hill Road) a couple of weeks ago and for the last couple of days an actual bus has been stopping there at a surprisingly regular interval.

The only way I was able to figure out a "schedule" was by watching the buses come and go all day.
