Well said! Massive spending cuts are required in all areas including entitlements but sadly this 'compromise' has NO spending cuts whatsoever. Cutting future planned spending IS NOT a spending cut! We are broke as a nation and taxing a few successful families and businesses is not going to change that. All of this to obtain 8 days worth of additional spending dollars....ludicrious!

I doubt there is any news source that is totally unbiased, but certainly some are much more biased than others. Every situation consists of multiple angles and if you only rely on one source for the bulk of your news then you will seldom be able to see anything but what you want to see. Confirmation bias may be comforting but it is not particularly illuminating.
