I just received the least expensive WAPA bill that I have gotten in DECADES!
Seriously!

Then I went to the grocery store and realized their prices had gone up, again.
3 pack of Raid mosquito spray is now $12.99 up from $9.99 @ Cost U More.
12 pack of Coke went from $4.49 to $5.39.

Gas prices haven't gone down very much while the stateside average is $1.70 a gallon. Lowest price I saw was $2.839 down from the many months long constant price of $2.999. Funny how when gas prices go up, they raise their prices immediately but when they go down, it takes forever to see a miniscule reduction.

My last WAPA bill was for 1kWH. We were gone for the month and the only thing I left on was the clock on the stove. That was the lowest too.

I wasn't away.
Seriously, lowest bill since I purchased this particular home 13 years ago.

Now that I'm solar with net metering, I get a credit from WAPA every month.

I look forward to getting my bill now.

We aren't like super crazy about conserving but just use common sense - no AC ever and no microwave and our bill has never once been above $150 in three houses. Last bill was $80! I paid $500-$600 in AZ so I'm stoked lol. All that savings goes to Ale House or Plaza West for Applegate bacon @ $16.99 for a pound and half. So worth it 😉

Not to have a Pi**ing contest with anyone, but more of a "I can't believe it" Gas prices in New Mexico, are less than $1.40 a gallon $1.39. I wonder about the energy shortage when I see prices I haven't seen in years. (I can remember when I was a kid, gas was 27 cents a gallon.) I was in Egypt 16 months ago and gas prices there are a joke, its almost free. I got a ride from a friends brother who owns a taxi from Aswan to Luxor about a 2 and half hour drive for $50.00. I asked him how much was he paying for pas, he said he fills out a form and gets his gas for free!

And yeah, how come whenever there is a hike in gas prices its double quick time with changing the signs, but like pulling teeth when they go down, Good point Alana33

With oil prices this low, there must surely be a war right around the corner. Or an economic collapse. Both maybe?
