As above - called all the numbers with absolutely no response which I have to say is unusual.
Called an additional number for a lineman- and he asked how I got the number. Well he probably gave to me at some point or another but when one cannot get thru after numerous times to report an outage, it is time someone got up to do the job. Our area is out. No response from WAPA. Anyone have Hugo Hodges home phone? WE pay a premium price for power and HE needs to get his butt out of bed to respond.

He probably passed out due to the high level of non-compliant emmissions.

Power is still out in my northside location/STT.
Anyone know what's going on?
Numerous attempts to contact WAPA have proved fruitless.
Help!

Finally got thru to WAPA about power being out since 11PM last night.
God help you if you have any kind of electrical emergency or outage that happens after 11PM because there will be no one at WAPA to report it to or deal with the situation.
They are FINALLY aware of the situation and are "working on it." Whatever "it" is because the lady I spoke to didn't have a clue.
BTW - Hugo has an unlisted number.

Alana, you seem to be in a little pocket there with ongoing localized power problems. I don't know how far you've gone in addressing with WAPA what can be done to solve the problem but I would email or write to the Director and the head of the Line Department, document the problems and go from there. I'm not far from you and probably on the same general feeder but although there are sporadic outages of very short duration, yours are much greater and would seem to indicate a problem with your transformer. Maybe you can get together with some of your neighbors who are equally suffering and have them write too. Good luck!

Thanks OT. I don't think we are on the same feeder but there seems to be more than our share of outages in this location.
Luckily, the power is back on, now. Only 10 hrs. this time. I aways call when there's an outage as quite often they are not aware of it until you do call as it can be a problem with a transformer, etc. It is very frustrating tho when you call and get no answer for hours on end.

Yes. And power just went out again just now but luckily have been able to get thru to WAPA this time unlike Thursday night when power went out at 11PM and was not back on again until 9AM the following morning and NO ONE was answering any of their phones, including the emergency number until 8AM. How can they run a utility business this way?

They said Skyline was out as well when I just called. Thank you Hugo for providing us with such unreliable power. Thank goodness for my generator or I'd never get anything done tho it pisses me off to have to provide my own power due to the cost of diesel as well as paying the high cost of WAPA.

Can't hardly wait until we have a few TD's passing by...................not!

Power out again last night at 3:30AM until 5:45AM. Glad I have battery operated fans!
We've experienced 4 seperate outages since last Thursday.

I know East Ender! My comment was made in a moment of weakness and denial!

Have you tried writing? I've always had success with both WAPA and other government entities by putting in a formal letter when all else has failed to solve a problem. You obviously have a localized persistent problem down where you are and calling to advise al the time obviously isn't proving very effective!
