Looking to have a watch repaired. Used to use the watch factory but they closed. There was a guy by Purple Papaya in C'sted but he too is gone.

Any recommendations?

I kinda remember seeing an ad in the Avis...I think it was Baci (or maybe it was one of the other jewelry places that sell watches)...

baci will send the watch off island to be repaired if that is what the watch company requires and it is still under warrenty. some watches are repaired on the island. depends on the circumstances. take your watch in and he will be able to tell you which way it will go.

Well so much for Patrick!
I've sold watches & most will require you sending them back to the manufacturer as to NOT void the warranty.
If the warranty is past it's prime, then the bigger named watches still require you send them to them.
Movado, Tag & Rolex will ask for the watch to be returned to them. Should you not & theres still a warranty, you have just VOIDED it by allowing some one else touching it.
Especially a Rolex, they actually maintain or increase in value depending on the make & model. But if any watch dealer/repair place touches it, it's now worth as much as that Timex!

That's such a shame, Patrick was a really nice guy and usually fixed watches for free if not really inexpensive...probably why he went outta business 🙁
