Hopefully it "would end up" like the privately run Coral World. They do great job. excelent facilty, educational programs. conservation. tons of $$$ spent on up-keep providing employment opportunites. interships. a true labor of love for the owners. A fine example of giving back to community. Can I say more? yep. Go for yourself and see... You won't be disappointed. Try to hit as many of the feeding as possible. ask questions. Bring a lunch. Take your time. Really look. At one time they did have a lecture series for members. A fasinating night out. Intersesting speakers. A nice diverse group of concered residents.

On a side note: skip the neighboring Coki and smith bay bars.

I will check it out as soon as we get there. My point was that the comments were of gangs yelling and selling drugs, harrassing visitors and the like. Would some place like the wafer park be taken over by the same groups. That was my question. Not a negitive comment. I am trying to follow everyone comments on a daily basis to understand as much as I can as to how u all feel about things. I have no doubt that coral world is unbelievably. I am just a little concerned about the low life controlling something that should be a big draw for the island. We have the same group of low life in places here in Alabama. Not trying to offend.
Thanks

Not if you're going to St Croix. Coki and Coral World are on St Thomas. 😀

I agree that it would be nice to have more attractions for tourist and locals. Is this a case of build it and they will come?
What ever happened with the marina development ine the William and Punch area? With the Hovensa shut down, will the Government "work" with developers to help stimulate the STX economy?

Who is financing the proposed developments - Golden Gaming, Robin's Bay, William and Punch?????

No new development would be as cost effective as an economic stimulus than fixing WAPA. Period. End of Story. Thank you very much.

Only Five months remaining for subsidized fuel, then LEAC will jump again, and the Government hasn't even worked out an agreement to keep HOVENSA permitted as a Terminal and Local Sales loading rack.

But let's work on building stadiums and water parks why? Because all that other stuff is too hard.
