Good Day future neighbors!
We will be coming to our new home soon. I am a big water sports fan. Besides snorkeling ,scuba diving, and deep sea fishing, what other sports are popular? How about surfing and water skiing? Is fishing from shore any good?
Thanks!

On STX, there are kayaking, surfing, kiteboarding, standup paddleboarding and jet skiing.

On the northside of STT you've got swimming, kayaking, inland fishing, deep water fishing, surfing, skim boarding, kite surfing, wind surfing, sailing, jet skiing, snorkeling, scuba diving, stand up paddeling, and probably other stuff I'm forgetting.

On STX biking and riding (horses). Tennis everywhere. No skiing or snow boarding.

St John and St Thomas have horseback riding as well! I enjoy hiking to out of the way, lesser known because you have to HIKE to them, beaches. I don't think I've seen any waterskiing, but practically every other water sport, I HAVE seen here.

The closest thing I've seen to water skiing on STT is that weird really old maroon Mercedes that drives around with one water ski strapped to the roof.

That is sad. Almost every Saturday and Sunday I would go water skiing with my 13' Boston Whaler with a 55hp Evinrude/Johnson in the 80s.

I used to charge male tourists $20 to go skiing for an hour and women got a free ride.
