Has anyone else noticed how the water is warming up very early this year? Nice for swimming, but I wonder what it will mean for hurricane season?

This been the warmest winter and spring I have ever seen. It is about as warm as June/July. But this all not good. The higher the water temperature the higher the possibility of a hurricane.

the water temp. in our swimming pool never hit below 80 degrees. and now its already 90 something. not usually that warm until august sept. yes it is scary.

our house sitter for the summer is from oklahoma city....i bet after the tornados she had yesterday a hurricane would be a new experience. (one i hope she does not have to experience)
