*What foods did ancient islanders eat? What type of clothing did they wear? What were their religous customs? What type of art and handcrafts did they make? What were their burial customs?

Hello Rachel,

I would consider the ancient islanders to be the Indian groups that lived here before European "discovery" and colonial days.

From archeological digs they seem to have eaten a lot of shellfish and seafood. Clothing - not sure, the drawings often show them in very little.

This last one is a good one for information on the art work, there are pictures too.
