I don't know her number but on STX try Lynn. She used to do the web site of gotostcroix.com. The people who have the webcam in Csted. Ask them at their office about Lynn. She is doing that on her own now as a business.

Just curious but why would you post a caribbean craiglist posting here? Its already on craiglist. Several people have been doing that on the classified section too, are you guys getting a kick back or something for promoting craiglist?

Hey Betty-

I haven't heard the phrase "calling you out" since junior high. I am amused to find it is still part of American vernacular. 😀 When I was a kid it meant an after school fist fight. Lisa B. was nasty and beat the crap out of someone seemingly daily. We didn't tattle because we weren't supposed to give her an audience (This was back in the day when kids still worried about repercussions if their parents found out.) Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

I see nothing wrong with helping others find other websites such as Craigslist. Small communities help one another!

So I'm sitting here and can't figure out why Betty is scolding someone for doing something nice like printing a link about a job. Then..Duh?...I figure it out...Betty is a landlord and doesn't like the competition.

Not good Betty, we need more information, not less, even if it competes for your customers. (which this doesnt)
Do you actually think Craigslist ads for rentals are being promoted here?

Sorry, I thought YOU were the one with the Craig's list ad, and just asking for someone on this board as well.

Ms Information, I have no idea why you are mad. I asked a question I did not insult anyone, time to check your blood pressure. Secondly my unit is rented. Thirdly this is not a rental ad. Why in the world would I be upset as a landlord that people were promoting criagslist??? I too can post on craiglist...lol

Yes a couple of posters are promoting criagslist and it make me really curious, couldn't figure out why they would do it. When my unit is available I post on craigslist and some other websites, but so far all of my renters have come from the avis or by putting a flyer up at schooner market.

I have NOTHING against someone promoting craigslist, but I was curious why. I don't see why that is that complicated to understand, or why people would overreact to such a question. Is this the caribbean gestapo that doesn't allow questions?

Remember Betty, Ms Information is the same poster who thinks anyone with a Tattoo is a "thoughtless irresponsible person" ;
a statement I find very narrow minded and insulting.

Let me interject here.

As a new business person and resident on the island, I was extremely grateful this post started, as I was surprised to find out there was a Caribbean Craig's list to start with, and happy to see a possible consult job.

In addition, my visit to the list prompted me to explore further where I subsequently submitted several more replies to contract jobs, and also listed my CT home in the House swap section.

Thank you from me!
