Couple of thoughts on Water Island locations:
Honeymoon Beach has a covered pavillion. I think Water Island Civic Association might have chairs/tables that could be set up? Chuck Gidley is WICA President.

Alex has a place (Providence Point) that's listed on WI Accomodations on this web site. Beautiful pool with a gazebo/covered area, facing west. You might consider asking that residents' pets & children are kept busy elsewhere.

Pirates Ridge on Water Island has a beautiful patio area with tropical trees/plant backdrop and adjacent covered bar area. Mark Pippen & his wife Becky are the proprietors - Pirates Ridge is also advertised on this web site.

No idea on what they would charge but I'm sure you could email them with your questions.

Hello Ann,

The marriage license application fee is $100 ($50 for application fee and $50 for the license). There is an 8 day waiting and processing period, which can be waived depending on circumstances. The application is good for 1 year. Court marriages in front of a judge are performed on weekdays by appointment and will cost around $200. You can find a bit more information at the bottom of the wedding planner page on our sister web site; here is the link http://www.vinow.com/stthomas/weddings/ (there are also several wedding planners listed on that page)

Marriott Frenchman's Reef has a nice gazebo wedding area, not sure what the price is. At Sapphire Beach they do weddings on the penisula, its windy there but surrounded by water.

To avoid the resort prices on their wedding gazebo locations, you could have a beach wedding; Magens Bay is a popular choice.

I attended a wedding on Honeymoon Beach on Water Island quite a few years ago that was lovely.

You also have some beach options on St. John too. Westin Resort has a gazebo wedding area by the beach.

Weddings the Island Way, a wedding planner on St. Thomas, has a garden terrace site they use, its overlooking the ocean. You can see the information at http://www.weddingstheislandway.com/locations.cfm

Hello Ann,

The Water Island guide isn't on this website, but rather on our sister website http://www.vinow.com, so click on that link and then select Water Island.
