On Savings or CD accounts.
Our local banks offerings seem pretty pathetic.
Any ideas?

Usually Credit Unions have the best rates right now! All banks offer next to nothing.

banks have not had good rates on savings or cd's in at least 13 years

I do remember way better rates but those days are gone!

When banks have relatively low interest rates for loans, the interest rates they pay on CD's & savings accounts is also relative low.

When you factor in the inflation rates it gets even more pathetic.... 🙂

Put your savings into low cost, balanced, mutual funds. And hope for the best....
