Is the popcorn GMO Free?

This guy has it right!

Beer in the theater is +++++!!!!! yay!

I won't have to sneak them in anymore?

Beer is probably GMO free.. Popcorn more than likely not. Bourbon more than likely made with GMO corn. Just saw the Eco terrorists at Greenpeace are at it again sabotaging voluntary human consumption trials of a GM banana with higher beta carotene. This has huge implications for sub Saharan Africa. Researchers want to see how well it is processed into Vitamin A in body but Greenpeace is blocking it. The anti science crowd always says, "not enough research" then when research is proposed they still block it. Their true colors are being shown. They are Luddites. Period. Their suggestion to Ugandans, whose staple food the matooke (cooking banana) which is threatened by a bacterial wilt and which doesn't produce enough vitamin A to prevent blindness and death in millions a year? Grow squash. Yup. Real good folks at Greenpeace.

Why? The other one is fine.

are you joking?

na mon - its fine for me. Its a movie theater - its nice and cold and theres a big screen. We always bring booze and the popcorn is bomb. Thats all I need. I've been to a few in the states - in AZ they have dinner ones with a full bar etc - recliners and all kinds of crap.... it was $80 to go to the MOVIES! No thanks! Prefer ours just the way it is. Plus the movie experience here is HILARIUOUS. Im usually all for fixing stuff but honestly I don't think its needed.

Different strokes i guess eh?

I went to a theater in austin and happily paid $220 for a 5star dinner, luxury leather recliner and "seat service" (they came and gave me drinks through out the movie,,, which is why the damn bill was so high... haha!)

The lobby:

Seats:

Though that was vacation, so...

If I didn't have a toddler (which apparently it is cool to bring him to movies with me here) I'm with you LF. Don't see enough movies and when I go, I want the whole 9 yards

That looks cool but yea, not my thing. The one we did in AZ was similar but not 5 star.

There was toddlers at Deadpool when we went a couple weeks ago. Not to mention all the teenagers there - when the sex scene happened I was like WHERE are these kids parents! It was pretty graphic...for kids anyways 😉 . Totally not cool for the ticket girl to be selling to kids. I mean not 16 either. Like 10 year olds.

No way I'm taking my toddler to any movie. Not fair to people who want to see movie. I've seen the kids out in front of theatre on STT just waiting for parents in theatre.

Its definitely great news if you like going to the theater along with everyone's untamed kids. Now we can listen to them scream in comfort...with GMO popcorn and Beer!

But I thank Breunlin...I know he's a good person who is sharing his honest thoughts on the matter.

I've been here too long I suppose.

Nah I'll wait two months for the movie on Netflix and sit in my recliner at home and drink beer and eat pizza and hit pause so I can go pee. I'm over 50 so that's a big deal!

We have a Cinemark theater here in Mesa AZ that has reclining chairs, a double armrest between every other seat so everyone gets a cup holder. We can also reserve our seats on line.
Senior prices are just $6.50. If you buy their popcorn bucket a refill is only $3.50 and If you have a cup from their competitor a refill is only $1.50
We love it!!! Saw 62 movies last year
