Where to sell Gold on St. Croix

have been cleaning out jewelry box and came accross some gold pieces that are broken etc.
(getting ready for yard sale this saturday)
does anyone know anything about selling gold here on st. croix?
my sister did in the states and got alot of "mad money" for her items.

Can't think of the name, but there's a jewelry store on 70 between CUL and Kmart, close to Mencho's. I think the name has a number in it...like 37 maybe?

Past discussion about selling gold on STX. I don't think it's a good idea. They don't pay market price. If you are visiting your sister anytime soon, wait and take it to the states. Or send it to her and let her sell it, being that she made "mad money" where she sold her gold.

Violettes is having a big buying promotion on gold Nov. 3, 4, 5 until 5pm. Saw the commercial on TV. Try it out and see what price they are offering you. If you like the price sell, if not, you don't have to sell. Call them for more info.

saw in todays Avis that for three days Violette's will be accepting gold. might try that out.

to juanita........violette's is downtown somewhere. on some street accross from a store. think you can find it???:D

DC, I may see you at Violette's. We are seriously cleaning house, and I have several rings, with missing stones, or 1 earring, couple of broken chains....better yet, really like the idea of a trade up at IB.

juanita i will be going down there sometime friday. i have old wedding ring, earrings, chains as well. since i wear silver the gold can go.

Beachcomber you are right you did post the info and i just didnt pay attention...sorry:S

sold some odd pieces of gold today and was pleasantly suprised what you get. next time working on my odd pieces of silver.:@)
