Which island??

Thanks for the input Max. I've heard that there's a V.A. clinic on STX..... Actually weve found a couple listed in my 2004 Dept of Vetrans Affairs booklet. We have listed a clinic on St Crois in the Village Mall in Kingshill and a clinic on St thomas in the Buchaneer mall. Then they list vet centers, one on St Croix, and one on St Thomas......same locations for both. Max, are you familar with the concept of fee basis for qualified miltary??

I grew up and spent almost 20 years in St. Thomas. However now when I return 2 or 3 times a year I always stay on St. John.

I assume since you've posted on this message board that you're asking opinions of the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Ignoring that, if I were in your shoes and looking to spend a year in the Caribbean where the snorking/diving was good and the cost of living wasn't too high, I'd head for somewhere in the Grenadines.
