That is my BIGGEST issue. ALL my family is in Michigan. It is definitely hard. I really want to be home but I hate the cold so much. The gray skies for 6 months due me in also.

Spirit now goes from Detroit (DTW) to St. Thomas (STT). Just saw it for $139 each way.

that is one of the reasons I cam back to Florida. I love the look of falling snow and the glimmer on it at night from the moon, but ONLY from the other side of a window. and yes, the 6 months of grey sky's and poopy brown snow! yuck.

I guess once I got back to Michigan, I realized how damn depressing it really is (except for vacations!) I have my husband, and kids (3) two are grown and the youngest is turning 18 soon. So, I guess I do have my family around me, but I miss my mom. I plan on going to visit this Christmas with my kids and new grand daughter.

So where does your mom live? Probably next door to one of my relatives.
So when are you leaving for STT?

My mom lives in Utica in a co op with one of my sisters. The other sister lives in Rochester and so does a brother. I leave this Tuesday for 9 days, I hope to get to sit by the pool for some of it.

Hello,

If you don't mind me asking, what company are you working for? I want to move to STT and I would like to transfer downed with an established company here who has branches down there.
