Thanks everyone for all your help over the last couple of months. I'm finally coming down this sunday to finalize my job and apartment status. Anyone have any last minute tips for me? im gonna be on the east end near Carina Bay Resort. Places to go get a drink? Live music?

Divi is reeeeeally far away from places to hang out (meaning restaurants, bars, etc...). The casino is right there as well as the Divi resort and the pizza place. There's also mini golf. Further west (on the southside of the island), you have the Southshore Cafe which is a restaurant. Heading west on the northshore is Duggan's Reef, Chicken Charlie's (trivia on Tuesdays with all you can eat pizza - fun bar with live music), Cultured Pelican, Chenay Bay Beach Resort (fun bar/restaurant - $5 burger night on Weds is PACKED, Thursday is 50 cent wings, Friday is all you can eat fish fry for $15.99, Mondays are AYCE snow crab legs) Pickled Greek (awesome greek restaurant, bar - good people) and then Christiansted Town. Mercy Child plays at Chenay Bay often, he's great. If you ever hear of Kurt Schindler playing anywhere - go! so much fun. Adrian is another one, as is Michael Justis. They always bring great crowds.
Have fun!!! I've lived here all my life and i LOVE this island, good and bad. I don't ever want to live somewhere else 🙂
