I'd be very suspicious about "free" trips being offered on the Internet. I get at least 2 free trip messages a day plus a number of "free" gift cards from K-Mart, Home Depot, etc.
I just delete them without opening the message.
No one is going to give you something of value for free.

Actually, I had a friend win a trip for 2 to Hawaii for a week as the result of an i-net registration...and there were no strings attached. They had a wonderful time!
All in all, I would be suspicious, too.....but hotjobs is a reputable site....it's those that come and go like the wind that would freak me out. I don't remember where he won his from, but it was something like hotjobs - maybe monster?
