Hi. I would like to ship wood furniture to the VI. Does anybody know a good method for keeping termites away from it once it's been set up in my new home? TIA

get monthly treatment by an exterminator. most people have wood furniture and dont have issues

Agreed.
If your place of residence is properly maintained, you’ll eliminate a lot of problems down the road.
Expect considerably more up keep here than stateside.
