Good afternoon! Are there many opportunities to find work as a deck hand on sport fishing fleets? And which island has the most opportunities? What do they pay? Can an experienced fisherman make a living doing this? Im deeply interested in this subject and would love some feed back! Thanks, michael

St. Thomas is going to have the most charters, but getting on as a mate is going to be difficult, as there are long lines of men in front of you...kind of a coveted job, ya know? But, come down, hit every marina, walk the docks and get your face out there...worst case, start your own charter...

If you start your own charter boat - you will need to have a USCG license and USVI business license.

Yep, the SuperGlide is back on the road...still have a small leak that I need to track down, but it's livable....the '76 is a Sporty w/ a '74 XL1000 engine...had 'er for about 10 years...called the Pirate Bike, due to the 'theme' I had painted on it
and the skull n bones all over it...Still no takers on the Chopper...I am quite surprised...just goes to show how limited riders are here, I guess...I might be interested in selling the Pirate Bike for $7K....you can see some pics of it here: Pirate Bike Pics If ya wanna see it when ya get here, gimme a shout 340-643-4922
