My family and I are relocating from PA to STX sometime in July/August. What youth sports are available for our 8yr old son. We'd like to keep him as active as he here in the states. He currently plays football, wrestling, basketball, and baseball. He's try anything once. He's an easy going kid

You will find many of the same sports as you do in PA....basketball for sure. There is also soccer, cross-country running, volleyball, sailing, swimming is a big sport here with a great team! There are places that offer karate and the like as well.

There's Little League baseball. Local basketball leagues and also the elementary schools basketball league. Football on the high school level; not too sure about below that.

Not too sure about organized wrestling, other than the regular backyard WWE style play among kids 🙂

Flag football available for younger age groups. Soccer is big on island. Triathlon federation offers junior triathlon meets regulated for younger age groups and have bikes available for those kids without bikes. Of course, watersports-kayaking, swimming, snorkeling, sailing, paddle boarding.....
You will find plenty of organized activities for kids of all age groups on island.
