Here you go - for those of us trying to understand the language used by our neighbors and friends who live in their "conservative" bubbles. Now we can all dance to Bob Marley.

Many of those LA Times terms have been mainstream for quite a while. Can't really be used to identify alt-righters. But they can be used to help id the shallow among us.

The Breitbart article was as amusing as it was enlightening. Trying to put lipstick on a pig.

But it's so interesting the LA Times published that story today. OMG Really?

To make it local - is it a beer drinking pig maybe?

It's funny to see individuals get so worked up by their tactics used against them

The Breitbart article was pretty good

Personally, I'm hoping the electoral college comes to its senses and doesn't certify him as president. If they do, I won't be watching the inauguration. I will be mourning for America and Americans.

Come now, we suffered through 8 years of Obama and the Great Democrat Over Reach. You mean you can't accept that your way (Left wing liberal global agenda) of thinking wasn't accepted by the majority of Americans? I know you lefties are grasping at smoke rings and trying your best to brow beat, threaten and harass the electoral college voters to try and overturn what was done legally, lawfully and by the Constitution. Unlike the sneaky, under handed, cheating democratic, liberal way of trying to win and influence an election.

If that were to happen, I would for the first time in my life be a shamed to be an American, when a bunch whinny, spoiled, cry babies could cause enough influence to change a lawful election just so those same whinny, spoiled, cry babies can get their way and elect or anoint their lying, crooked queen. This would be a dark day for Americans and America.

So you need to find some way of coming to terms that you lost, and the Clinton Coronation will not happen. Even if the electoral college were to (come to their senses) as you call it and sustain from voting or throw their votes any where other than the person who won the electoral vote the night of the vote. It would be a first and would force the Congress to vote and with a republican majority, how do you think that would go.

So deal with the shame of losing and realize you will have another opportunity in 4 years to change things. This is what got me through the Obama years.

Mike, I'm truly concerned for our country under this president elect.
and for each and every one of us.

I don't like the racist BS.
I don't like the white supremacist BS.
I don't like the filling of the swamp with more slime.
I don't like the fact that I won't be able to get or afford healthcare, Medicare when I reach 65 or that social security is threatened.
I don't like that public education is threatened.
I don't like that our environment is threatened.
I don't like that his cabinet has a white supremacist, misogynistic, racist xenophobic, misanthropic, climate denying, sexist, miscreants.
I don't like that your president elect is so ignorant, petty and narcissistic.
Seriously, tweeting inane BS? What's that all about?
I don't like that there are too many conflicts of interest with his presidency.
I have, honestly, never disliked or felt so strongly about any president elect or that this presidency is a clear and present danger and disaster in the making.
Buckle up or bend over, buddy.

I, honestly, hope that I'm proven wrong and trump won't be the disaster that I believe.

To which Cabinet appointee are you referring?

You're stating your opinions as fact.

Actually, I was considering ALL of them.
Sorry, Johnny, don't trust the demagogue he believes he is.

I was also considering the fact that trump has yet to release his tax information, Not yet divested himself from his business affairs and put them in a Blind Trust. Too many Damned Conflicts of Interest.
To much lack of morals, integrity, ethics, honor, trustworthiness, truthiness.

Like paying for the lack of it?
Ynou've got a president elect who is unfit, UNQUALIFIED.
To say the least.

Buckle up and/or bend over.

Again, exactly how I felt about Obama and his appointed cabinet like Loretta Lynch, who I was sooo hoping I was wrong about and thought maybe, just maybe she would do the right thing up until the 30 minutes she met with Old Billy boy on the tarmac just a few days before Commie came out with his guilty but we ain't going to pursue it so as not to affect the outcome of an election.

The only ones that care about tax returns are the democrats. I didn't care about Hillary's and I don't care about donalds, what does this show? Does this decide a decision as to who you will vote for? C'mon, get real. If that is the case, then how could you vote for Hillary who gave to her own charity. a charity that gives just 5% of what they take in. It's one of the worst out there. So we want to see how Trump screwed the gov't by taking the loopholes that were designed by the people we already voted for. And lastly, you know Hillary knew she was going to run 12 years ago, a long enough time to plan on having squeaky clean tax returns. Get over it Alana, now you know how we felt when Obama was voted in. I actually hoped he would bring change, but he brought the same old crap. He didn't fix medicare, social security, he gave that money to foreign countries and to support the influx of refugees. He didn't change a thing and in my opinion not a good president. He never worked or wanted to work with the right, just blame, blame, blame. At least Bill in his second term knew that he had to work with both sides. Obama is done in 40 something days. Hurray! Anyways, you are so blinded by your hate, which I always find funny, as the Hillary ran on Love Trumps Hate, but once again, the lib way, do as I say,not as I do. So start posting your links from the left to try to prove to yourself that it's the end of America as we know it. We will survive. MAGA!

"Unqualified", there isn't any qualifications to be president. This is why you can tell Billy Bob that " you could grow up to be president one day". But I guess we need to add in there that this is Unless you are a business man and not a stuck in the swamp politician, who has made his living off the back of everyone else and owe his soul to all the special interest groups.

Now had Jill Stein gotten elected, I guess she would have met the qualification or Hillary because what you really wanted was to keep Obama for a third term.

Unfortunately, you have to overlook the thorns to see the beauty in a rose and such is the case with politics.

I'm sorry that the left democratic party people were so blinded by the media hype that they actually thought America was actually a left wing country like Europe which is their Utopia. But the right leaning Americans republican and democrat finally stepped up and stepped out to vote to say " We are not a Left wing country and we do not have nor need a Queen".

Believe me, I was blinded myself by the media hype for Hillary that I told my wife I wasn't going to vote because I wasn't happy with any candidate so why waste my vote. But she pushed me into voting. You can relish in the fact that Donald didn't win, but rather Hillary lost. Had the Dem's not been so blinded by their push to break that last glass ceiling to back the worst candidate in history, well next to Donald Trump that is, they would have won. Had they pushed the VP to run or put all their backing behind another candidate they would have won by a huge margin. I would have even voted democrat had the right candidate come along like the Vice President. I like Joe Biden and would have voted for him in a heart beat over what was offered.

So unfortunately, the Democrats beat them selves and I think that is the worst bitter pill to swallow than Trump winning. Had the media not been so in the tank for Hillary, the Dem's I believe would have seen or at least been preparing for a possible defeat, but you were so waiting for that coronation in January and finally getting your revenge by installing your impeached president back in the White House no matter what else happens you felt that this was going to set things right. The Dem's never have forgotten about the impeachment of Bill Clinton, who was their shining knight, no matter how tarnished.

And the left said the same thing after Obama's election.

When the GOP starts screwing up, the middle will move towards the Dems. Rinse. Repeat

If nothing else, the bleating over the next 4 years will be entertaining.

Elections come and go. Every 8 years (mostly) there is a call for change and the presidency moves from democrat to republican. This is different, the language is different.

Led by Breitbart and its merry band of mischief makers, a new codified language has been built that Trump/Bannon followers use. Special club stuff. If the special club says so then the alternative ideas are wrong and discounted as unworthy. Then, as mean kid bullies, these same followers heckle and degrade opposing views using their special language meant just for them. Clockwork Orange?

One of the first steps to any coup is to take over the media. Breitbart and Fox are the only conveyors of truth - and all others are irrelevant because Breitbart and Fox say so. Hmm?

BTW: The US Constitution does not call for the president to divest or otherwise give up his/her personal business interests. One might question the judgment of trying to do both in today's world, but the Constitution dictates this specifically for the president.

Please provide for me a reliable reference that Obama, the Constitutional lawyer or anyone around him, would say he wanted 50 years of power.

You are quite naïve. So impressionable. Do you have an original thought that doesn't come from a viral patriot meme?

This is interesting:

Trump Campaign Allegedly Violated Constitutional Law to Alter Election Results. Penalties Include Prison Time if Charged.

"In efforts to secure the White House for Donald Trump, major members of his campaign – including Trump himself – engaged in a coordinated voter suppression campaign the likes of which haven’t been seen since the Civil War."

"In doing so these individuals and organizations – which include, Sheldon Adelson, Charles Koch, David Koch, Gregg Phillips, Kris Kobach, SOS for SoS (now disbanded), the Scaife Family foundations, the Immigration Law Reform Institute, the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), the government officials connected to the Interstate Crosscheck system and Donald Trump – may have triggered numerous violations of Constitutional law that were designed to prevent just such election manipulations and deprivation of rights."

So deal with the shame of losing and realize you will have another opportunity in 4 years to change things. This is what got me through the Obama years.

And we survived 8 years of Bush W, not to mention Reagan. And most of us would also have been very uncomfortable, but accepting of 4-8 years of Rubio, Bush, Kasich, et al. Heck, I'd even have put up with Cruz. It's that you and others can't see, or refuse to acknowledge, the difference between those guys and the bizarre character that is trump that boggles my mind.

I said I'd hold trump to his promise of serving all Americans and his message of unity, unless or until he proved himself wrong. In less than a month, weeks before he actually becomes president, here's the start of his "legacy":

Lied about his influence over Ford in keeping jobs from going to Mexico.

Had Minion Pence engage in crony capitalism with his Carrier PR stunt.

PO'd a very populous nuclear-bearing country by lavishing praise on that country's also nuclear-armed sworn-enemy neighbor.

PO'd a country we (and he) are deeply indebted to by thumbing his nose at a long-standing diplomatic policy and by tweeting about precarious diplomatic issues with said country.

PO'd one of our staunchest allies by telling them whom they should appoint as their US ambassador.

Picked an alt-right promoter as his strategy advisor.

Picked a billionaire anti-public education activist with no experience in education to oversee an education agency.

Picked a guy who is on record as saying he didn't have the experience or knowledge to oversee a government agency to . . . . oversee a federal agency.

Showed multiple times that his skin is still too thin to handle the job by numerous childish tweets.

Lied to the public about 3 million illegal voters keeping him from winning the popular vote.

Promoted that citizens who exercise their Supreme Court-upheld free speech rights should be punished or deported. (How in the heck do you deport a natural-born citizen, btw?).

Oh, lordy! I just realized I can continue this list of clear unfitness thru the rest of the morning, but I have a house to clean. Suffice it to say, that it was a short honeymoon for me.

No, we are not "whining" over the "shame" of a lost election. We are voicing that we are appalled that such a fiscally and internationally incompetent, Constitutionally ignorant, child-man was elected to such a powerful position. As his actions continue to demonstrate how unfit he is, we continue to voice our anger. Dismissal and normalization of trump's stunts and poor choices, and our refusal to sit back and enjoy the show, only show the shallowness and confirmation bias of the persons engaging in such behavior.

Anyone who was denied a vote because their name was purged by accident is allowed to complete a provisional ballot and vote.
