just a question.

the islands are majority democratic. the islands have also been run into the ground financially by democratic control. how come you all hate the republicans so much?

the democrats have done nothing for the islands but you still vote them in each and every time.

What gives? can anyone explain the thinking behind that?

Someone recently explained to me that ideology has little to nothing do with how people here vote. It's about family name and connection.

After my decades here, I'd have to agree with janeinstx
I don't really make a decision based on party when I vote here but I don't make it based either on gain for myself but on whom I consider to have performed effectively. Which is difficult.
