i heard they tried it years ago. some taxi driver said this? do you know how much money the government would have to try to come up with to make the switch. just does not seem feasible

About 15 years ago they were thinking about moving the high beam switch back to the floor instead of on the signal lever in all cars. Apparently, too many Polacks were causing crashes beacuse they kept getting their foot stuck in the steering wheel.

There has been no attempt to change over in my time here [38 yrs.] and I don't advocate trying to change.
