This surely is a coconut telegraph question.
Has anyone else heard of a big EDC company in STT issuing a closing in less than 90 days notice to all its employees? In recent years this was one of the largest employers here.

Must have been ScotiaBank on STT/STJ.

Scoiabank is not an EDC beneficiary.

Thank You - I had heard that Glacial Energy was closing down the VI operation and was hoping it was a rumor - [which I wasn't going to spread about without some kind of confirmation] - so this is a true fact??

asking a question is not spreading a rumor.

I don't work there so nothing is fact, I do believe it is so. Certainly spreading a rumor of a fellow islander's misery isn't the intention. I only said it in case one of you are an outside contractor or vender to them. So you can ask questions. This is a tough time to be left holding the bag. Even if it is a small one.
