Large partly furnished house in a safe, secluded upscale Little Lagrange area just east of Frederiksted. The previous tenants never felt the need to lock up. It has three bedrooms, two baths (one with separate toilet and bidet), a very large living room with vaulted ceilings, kitchen and laundry room. I live in a downstairs apartment and any maintenance problems that come up are dealt with immediately either by myself or a professional. The house has easy to open and close aluminum hurricane shutters. There are plenty of parking spaces. Furnishing includes two large couches, a twin bed and large wraparound office/computer desk. The main bedroom and living room have air conditioners. There are Hunter ceiling fans everywhere in the house and with the air-flow at this elevation usually just the ceiling fans are needed if at all. There is plenty of closet space. A shipping container is close by near the driveway for extra storage. The cistern holds 50,000 gallons. We use solar hot water and there are many solar voltaic panels on the roof together with state-of-the-art storage batteries that run the cistern pump. Whether the power lines are working or not there is always running hot and cold water and I can run other essential needs like refrigeration for extended periods when there's a power outage as after hurricanes without need of a generator. The house sits about 700 feet up on a hill facing West with unobstructed views of the ocean and Frederiksted 2 miles west as seen from the front porch, master bedroom and living room that are breathtaking. The house is surrounded by 4+ acres of rain forest that are part of the property and there are many more surrounding acres of rain forest. There are no neighbors to speak of up here other than one tenant living in a small house quite a bit up the hill.
