I am selling my 1989 Suzuki Samurai, but the engine is a 1995 Samurai. I bought this for $4000 a year ago and put in $3000 work. These items were new this year: alternator, alternator belt, front hub, wiper motor, front and rear brakes & rotors, wheel bearings. The engine was tuned with new distributor cap, rotor button, spark plugs & wires, air filter. Throttle body cleaned. Valves adjusted and valve cover gasket replaced, timing belt and water pump and idler pulley were replaced, replaced front differential fluid, transmission fluid, transfer case fluid, and rear end fluid. Lots of body work was done to repair rust.
The engine is strong. No oil leaks. Great island car. It has a radio but probably needs a better antenna.
Issues with car: Doors do not lock, passenger seat belt not locking tight, speedometer not registering, exhaust smell, All lights (headlights, brake lights, turn signals) work fine, but dash does not always light up inside.

And I forgot to mention, it's a stick shift. And I'll take the best offer.

I am interested in your Suzuki Samurai and would like to take a look at it, whenever you have time. It sounds like you are moving off-island, and I am moving on-island, so this may work out well if you need to continue using the vehicle until sometime before you leave St. Thomas.
I could make this work on my end as well, as I have friends here on the North Side where I live who are lending me a spare car of theirs until I find something. So I would not need the car right away, and you may need it before you leave.
