Good day,

Up for sale is one of the best type of vehicles for the island, a Suzuki Sidekick (actually a Vitara but same thing). They are tough, simple, fuel efficient, fun to drive, can handle all the potholes of the VI, and all mechanics can work on them. This is a two owner vehicle, was purchased from an older Puerto Rican lady and shipped over, so almost all the miles are on the kinder roads of PR.Here are the details and a link to Craigslist ad:

1996 Vitara/Sidekick

4 -door
Cold A/C
Body in great condition, paint still shines
4 x 4 works great
Manual transmission
C/D player
Alarm
Asking $4000

Reluctantly selling but have too many vehicles. Call 340-201-7011.

Water pump, timing belt, radiator, and clutch have all been replaced. Other than wear and tear items such as brakes and tires, should be good to go for quite some time/miles.

Good luck finding a 4x4 SUV with cold A/C and also excellent fuel efficiency for $4000. This is a great deal! I see these come up for sale and they are usually all beat up and average asking price of $3500.

The probability that something will go bad on 1996 is high - besides the stuff that has been replaced there are at least 5 expensive parts that could go and cost 25% + of the asking price. That's why I asked. Btw, when were the parts replaced? Gracias
