1997 Suzuki Sidekick For Sale STX

I've got a 97 Sidekick for sale here in STX. I really don't want to sell it but my wife and I are having a baby this July and I need something a little more family oriented. The vehicle has only been on island for about a year and a half and is in great mechanical shape and good cosmetic shape. It has been converted into an island car (Carpet stripped out and drain plugs removed to drain water.) It comes with three different tops for different weather. I've also added the aftermarket lockable trunk so you can lock up your valuables while at the beach. It's a 2wd version so you don't have to worry about the 4wd giving problems. It consistantly gets between 28 to 33 miles per gallon and you can fill it up with around 9 gallons. Within the last 4000 miles it has had a complete tune-up and many replacements:

New belts, New rear tires, New battery, thermostat replaced, new spark plugs and wires, new distributor cap and rotor, new clutch and flywheel, new clutch cable, new air filter, and I'm probably leaving a few things out. The oil has been changed every 3500 miles since i've owned it.

As you can see, I had no intention of selling this vehicle. The A/C doesn't work and hasn't since I bought the vehicle. Never needed it with the top off so never even checked to see what it needs. The front tires have around a year left in them depending on how many miles you drive per year. I have a new fuel filter for the vehicle that will go with it, but it hasn't been installed yet. I have the Haynes manual for it as well that will go with it. I'm asking $4000.00 obo for it as is. Send me an email and we can set up a time to view/ test drive. Also feel free to ask any questions you might have.

Sidekick is still for sale. I'll be showing it this weekend to at least two interested people. Being a standard has turned a couple of people away so if your looking for an automatic sorry.

Thanks

Many of you have called in the last two or three days sorry for the delay. I was on my way to show the vehicle on Saturday to two different people and the alternator went out on the Sidekick. I'm in the process of repalcing it and I'll call each of you in the order I received the calls when I get the new one on. Sorry for the inconvience, just don't want to sell the car with any problems.

Alright the car will be ready to go by monday afternoon. Along with everything else the car will now have a new alternator with a one year warranty + a new belt for it. I'll start calling those who have showed interest as soon as it's done. Thanks for your patience.
