No I wont be there until around the end of august the 23rd most likley I'm kind of nervous myself I'm just jumping on a plane with around a thousand bucks and hope to get a couple jobs right away. I'm excited too the place sounds amazing i hope i can make it when i get there I'm tired of life here. I a couple jobs there can keep a roof over my head food in my belly and ofcourse some cheap rum I'll be happy to live on such a beautiful island. I really hope i can match up with a roomate though. Well anyway good luck to u hope u make it there

Hey. I am moving to St. Croix, soon and i am in the exact same situation you are in. I am 18 years old and have a little over 1000$ dollars. I am showing up on the island in search of a job and a place to live. I have a basic idea of where i will work, but not where i will live. If you are a pretty chill guy id like to be your roommate.

stahhthephish,

a piece of crucial advice, don't ever publicly talk about or show any money. the Caribbean is still full of pirates (land pirates), a thousand dollars may not seem like much to you, but people have been robbed/killed for a lot less down here!!!
