Hi! I will be on St. John the months of April and May looking into the possibility of someone have a vehicle available that they would like to rent. All suggestions and leads would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Call a rental car agency. They will do a monthly lease/rental at reduced rate from daily/weekly.

Thank you. I have contacted several but the amount being charged is unbelievable. I am hoping to find someone who has a vehicle they would like to rent.

Insurance is an issue for the owner of the vehicle. If you are in an accident and the insurance company finds out the owner is renting to you, they will deny the claim and cancel the insurance

That has been discussed in these forums many times.
The bottom line is that the legal risk to the vehicle owner is to large for them to consider .

And the owner of the vehicle will be sued for damages and anything else the plaintiff can imagine.
