Good Day,

I am leaving island on February 14th and need to find someone to take over my lease. I have spoken to my landlord and I will be able to break my lease agreement as long as I find someone to rent the apartment.

The apartment is a one bedroom / one bath / appliances are fridge and gas range located in Dorothea, St. Thomas. I currently pay $950 plus electricity which runs about $100 a month. Area is very quiet and neighbors are very friendly. Nice view over looking inner and outer brass, hull bay...

The apartment would be available as of February 15th.

Please leave a post and contact information if you are interested.

Jim

Hi Jim,
I just had a few questions about your sublet., Hopefully you can answer them for me...............Is the apartment furnished? When does the original lease terminate? Where exactly is it located? Thanks.

Hey Oceanside,

The apartment is semi-furnished. When I moved in two years ago there was a dresser, two nightstands, and a coffee table. I am willing to leave my couch in the apartment if someone wants it. The original lease ends on March 31st. The new tenant would sign a new lease anytime after Feb 14th. It would not technically be a sublet. Since I am breaking the lease early the landlord ask to assist her in finding a new tenant. The aparment is located in Estate Dorothea. If you are familiar with the North Side it is the driveway in between the cemetarty and mailboxes. Almost directly across the street from the entrance to Nettleburg Beach. The driveway goes straight up the hill and it is the house at the top. The house has four apartments. The top two are two bedrooms and the bottom two are one bedrooms. Please feel free to contact me at 340-998-0713.

Jim

Is there any chance the landlords would settle on $750 per month?
