I'm planning a trip to St. Croix and St. Thomas in May and am looking for a long term rental that's close to public transportation and in a walk able neighborhood. Preferably close to a beach. Can anyone tell me what's the best way to go about finding a studio or 1 bedroom apartment under $1000 per month. Have been searching online but finding it difficult to find listings,

Thanks

What do you mean "a walk able" neighborhood? Like with sidewalks?

Cruzan, yes I believe the poster wants someplace with sidewalks and access to groceries, etc without use of a car. That's gonna be really tough for under 1k a month.

Yes, I mean a neighborhood where I can walk to grocery store, shops and close to a bus or taxi route.

Thanks

  • I used to live on Raphune Hill in STT. My apartment was just off Weymouth Rhymer Highway, which was serviced by the safari buses. Also, it was right outside downtown. You may want to try there. Hope this helps!
