I will be moving to STT in a few weeks and am looking for a place that will allow my 2 dogs. I am looking for a place close to Cost-U-Less(More), as that is where I will be working. They are well trained and will be inside dogs. I was just there this week, but I didn't have a whole lot of time to look as it was all about business. Any ideas? Thanks.

Good luck, most places do not allow pets. Also, you are getting close to the window when airlines will not allow your pets to be transported by plane due to the heat. Also, have you checked to see if the type of dogs you have will be allowed on the plane?

Thanks for the reply. I have found a few places, although you are right, it kinda limits my choices. 5/15 is the cutoff date and I'll be there before then. They are Aussie cattle dogs, so no problem there with the brachycephalic/ snub nosed muzzles. Thanks again.

There are a couple of apartments advertised on the road leading up to where I live on the North side and the area in general is dog-friendly (obviously as long as they're well-behaved and not left to roam) and there are several for rent signs elsewhere in the general area. It's about a 15 minute very easy drive to CUL. Best advice I can offer is that you leave the dogs with family or friends and get yourself here and settled. You can send for the dogs later once you've found a vehicle, got to know your way around and can find the right spot to rest your head. It's really not a good idea to sign up for something sight unseen.

I know leaving the dogs behind for a while is really tough but it may be the best plan for both them and you. Good luck!
